During the winter of 2012, Grabau Construction performed a façade renovation of the Boone Police Department Façade. This façade renovation was the result of countless hours of effort  by Grabau Construction. This company was relentless in their efforts to produce a quality project for the city of Boone. Physical construction of the façade was only one component of the efforts put forth by Grabau Construction.

Earlier during the summer of 2012 the staff of Grabau Construction took time to learn about the Police Department Façade Project. They spoke with city staff in an effort to understand the needs of the city. This company understood the complexities of a city project yet they were consistently up to the challenge. Later that fall, Grabau staff created several plans for the façade renovation. The concepts were presented to the City Council whereby minor adjustments were requested. Knowing that pending weather could be an issue, Grabau Construction put our project on the fast-track. That rapid response continued during construction.

Thanks to Grabau Construction and their partners (including Tony Franklin), the project was substantially completed prior to the onset of severe weather. We now have a weather safe façade that is already creating a whirlwind of favorable comments from citizens and downtown business owners.
